kevins lovely ling

out today turned out another canny day. with a good amount of cod and ling

coming up to double figures coming  aboard.    

 kevin then decided up the anti with this ling just short of 20lbs

thursday 12th sept

after so much crappy weather it was just nice to get back out and straight back into the fish with what ended up a lovely day with over 60 cod taken.

with a couple over 10lbs with prawns and shads both working 

also a few ling and pollack taken 

and still plenty mackrel still to be had 

places still available this monday 16th sept and also thursday 19th

when were getting to the wrecks  theirs still nice cod and ling to be had just like darrens  here

 he  always seems to manage to get in among them

with prawns and squid being the killer baits lately

 the weather lately has been hard going to say the least but weve still  

managed to get out and find fish

but hopefully with  the promise of the weather cheering up again

i think the fish will come on with a bang

friday 2nd aug nice one sonny

sonny shows the way

out today and steady away with 4 or 5 double figure fish landed, regular ronnie with a nice 13lbs ling but this day was sonny's with a lovely 18.5lbs ling boated after it gave a cracking account for itself  scrapping every inch of the day 

    well done that man

well another spot on weekend. some lovely fish this weekend even after the crappie midweek weather.

sat 15th june
plenty nice fish with jfk two regular mark showing the way with lings 14lbs and plenty around the 10 and 11lbs mark, darren chipping in with cod over 12lbs others around 8-9 lb
some nice ling and cod also falling to paul and john over from bury for the weekend again 8-9lbs mark regular graham also chipping in with cod over 10lbs
ending up with over 45 nice fish and 6 fish over double figures couple of pollack also taken in the catch.

sunday 16th june
well an even better day to say the least with mark uping his game from yesterday with a nice ling of 15lbs and again fish now coming in steadly and a really decent stamp of fish
with at least 8 double figure fish now taken both cod and lings even a small wolfish putting in a appearence 3 or 4 nice pollack 5-7lbs
but today john wasnt to be out done, and after a really decent tussle on his ancient but immaculate mitchel reel
up popped up this lovely 24 POUNDS LING CORKER again the second biggest ling this season on the north east coast only second to Ronnie's 35pounds ling taken on jfk two last week
he sat down after that for his well earned rest . well done that man his pb ling ended up with around 60 fish and at least 8 or more into double figures

well another spot on weekend. some love

mon 10th june

 a little slower than of late with the mackrel also after being  plenty now have also went quiter

but the few mackrel we had  we put to good use  and mark nailed a few nice ling best 16.5lbs

also cod to 8lbs

THURS  6TH JUNE

another really nice days fishing. with a nice mixture of cod and ling, and a few pollack

taken. ling into double figures. ronnie again winning the sweep, but not quite 35lbs this time around

cod to 8lbs. also loads of nice large mackrel. coming in

ending up with around 70 nice fish

friday 321st may

another red letter day with most anglers taking well over 20 plus fish each

and by 2 oclock were returning all the fish even the 5 and 6lbs cod

by 3 oclock they was only about three people stil fishing {and returning there fish] as the rest were filliting fish

at time 2 and 3 fish at a time coming aboard

was also a fair few mackrel even though we wernt really fishing for them

OUT SUNDAY 26TH MAY

ANOTHER CANNY DAYS FISHING  WITH A FEW DOUBLE SHOTS OF COD AT FIRST, FISH IN THE 2 TO 6LBS MARK, EVEN WITH THE WIND INCREASING FISHING  WAS STEADY ALL DAY COD BEING TAKEN ON SIDEWINDERS AND SHADS

WITH COD TO 6.5LBS AND LING TO 7LBS 

THE MACKREL HAVE NOW ARRIVED
